We offer NHS flu vaccinations for eligible patients in Wales, as well as private flu vaccinations for patients who are not eligible for a free NHS vaccine.

Free NHS Flu Vaccination in Wales
This may include:
- People aged 65 and over
- Pregnant women
- Adults with certain long-term health conditions
- Unpaid carers
- People living with someone who has a weakened immune system
- Frontline health and social care workers
- Care home workers and domiciliary care workers
- People living in a long-stay residential care setting
- Other eligible groups identified by NHS Wales for the current flu season

Please note: children who are eligible for a flu vaccination are usually vaccinated through their GP surgery or school vaccination programme. Our pharmacy team can advise you if you are unsure where to go.
Private Flu Vaccination
A private flu vaccination is suitable for many adults who want to reduce their risk of flu and help avoid passing it on to family, friends, colleagues or vulnerable people.

Availability may vary by branch and during busy periods, so we recommend booking in advance.
What happens at your appointment?
During your appointment, our pharmacy team will:
- Check your details
- Confirm whether you are eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination, if applicable
- Ask a few simple health questions to make sure the vaccine is suitable for you
- Explain what to expect after the vaccination
- Give the vaccine in your upper arm
- Record the vaccination appropriately
You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions before the vaccination is given.
Can I have the flu vaccine if I feel unwell?
If you have a high temperature or feel very unwell, it is usually best to wait until you have recovered.
